This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide.

MIRIAM SAIDIAN MS. LMFT
Life’s challenges, whether personal, relational, or professional can feel overwhelming. You may feel stuck, anxious, or uncertain about your next step. In a warm, collaborative space, I work with you to explore what’s happening beneath the surface, understand patterns that keep you stuck, and develop practical tools for change. Together, we build clarity, strengthen your inner trust, and support more grounded, meaningful ways of living and relating. My work is paced to your needs so that change feels steady, authentic, and sustainable. With a background in psychoanalytic therapy and the arts, I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relational difficulties, and life transitions. If you feel ready, I invite you to schedule a brief consultation to see whether we’re a good fit.
BIOGRAPHY
ABOUT
Miriam’s background in the arts and clinical psychology informs a thoughtful, relational approach to therapy that is both grounded and deeply human. She helps individuals, couples, and families navigate anxiety, self-doubt, relational conflict, and unresolved emotional pain, supporting greater clarity and emotional connection. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and completed four years of post-graduate training in psychoanalytic theory at VCC. Her work integrates psychodynamic and relational perspectives to help clients understand longstanding patterns and move toward meaningful change. Whether you are beginning therapy or returning after previous experiences, Miriam offers a steady, respectful space where your process is met with care, insight, and curiosity. Her aim is to support greater self-understanding, emotional freedom, and more connected relationships.
EXPERIENCE
Miriam earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology and completed her clinical training at Valley Community Clinic in North Hollywood, where she received intensive supervision in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. She has worked with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, obsessive patterns, and relationship difficulties.
Her early work at Professional Assessment and Treatment Services (PATS) focused on trauma, including sexual abuse, domestic violence, and intergenerational trauma—shaping her ongoing trauma-sensitive and attuned approach to clinical work. She has advanced training in psychoanalytic theory through the Psychoanalytic Center of California (PCC), and incorporates Gottman Method principles and EMDR-informed techniques when clinically appropriate. Her work is grounded in helping clients understand underlying patterns, process emotional pain, and develop more connected and fulfilling relationships.
